Danny Keane - Roamin'

Having known Danny for many years I have pestered him for at least the last 5 years to get on with his own record. Knowing how talented he is at composition as well as his skills at piano and cello added to the fact that he has a serious dose of funk I was sure his album was going to be a great project.

Now the album has finally come out almost 3 years since the first sessions with the band at the Fish factory in Harlesden and he has smashed it!

The reviews have been so positive (Mojo jazz album of the month in August 2020, 4 stars in the metro + many others)

Ultimately, it seems all you need for a great record is some good riffs, great players, good studio and some technical faff and bosh - a sweet record.

Out on lush thick vinyl too - plastic never sounded so good!!
